I was born in Melbourne, Australia. At the end of Year 11, I left school and became an apprentice painter and decorator. It wasn’t long before I realised I didn’t care too much for painting houses, so I gave that up and got a job at the State Bank of Victoria.

I was married at the age of 22, and before long, we had five children. And yes, we are still happily married after all these years. Now, the tribe includes nine grandchildren.

In recent years, I completed a Graduate Certificate in Management and a Master of Business Administration, specialising in Managing and Leading People. While I am still actively managing our IT company with my business partner, I now spend much more time on my writing projects. The goal is to publish one novel each year.

In November 2023, I underwent an aortic valve and root replacement due to a congenital heart defect. Recovery from open heart surgery is hard work, not just physically but also mentally. But hey, I'm all good now and don't have anything to moan about.
